Director: Jada Dixon
Jada is a two-time recipient of the True West Award (2016, 2017), is an artistic company member with Curious Theatre Company, and an Associate Artist with Local Lab Theatre. She holds an undergraduate degree from New York University’s, TISCH school of the Arts and the Gallatin Division, and a graduate degree from the Institute for Advanced Theatre Training (ART) at Harvard. Jada was recently accepted into the Directors Lab at Lincoln Center Theatre. She is thrilled to be working again with Athena Arts Project on the PIP series.
Dramaturg: Jim Valone
Jim is an actor, director, writer, and dramaturg. This is Jim’s fourth season with the Athena Project. Most recently, Jim has appeared as Frank Strang in Bas Bleu’s production of Equus (for which he was also dramaturg), as the Doctor and ensemble member in Firehouse Theater’s The Miracle Worker, and as the Preacher in Bas Bleuâ€™s production of Elephant’s Graveyard. Jim will also appear as Polonius in Jones Theatre’s production of Hamlet.
Stage Manager: Katherine Folz
Katherine is currently a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, pursuing a BFA in Stage Management with a Minor in Communication. Previous credits include Assistant Stage Manager of BETC’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Stage Manager of CU’s production of Into the Woods.

Credited as an actor most recently in DCPA Education’s (Shakespeare in the Parking Lot), Dez in (Skeleton Crew) at Curious Theatre, Ensemble in (Nourishment) with NYC’s Gwendolyn and Guests, Florizell in (A Winter’s Tale) with upstART in Ouray, CO and as emcee for the Nobel-nominated organization, Peace Jam. It is an honor to work with the Athena Project in Teach.
Female Emerson: Marlene Hall
Marlene is currently finishing her undergraduate BFA from the University of Wyoming and is an alumni of The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s NMTI Program. This is her Denver acting debut! Some favorite recent credits include: Susan/Company, Heather McNamara/Heathers, and Helen Hand/Below the Navel, Above the Knees.
