Join Athena Project and Art Students League of Denver for a night of show and tell with an artistic twist! Bring your dancing shoes, your monologues, your pantings or photographs, or even your guitar. Share your creation with a community of supportive female artists.

Angela Stern - Playwright - Mama's Eggnog

On a hot day in late fall, the Pereira siblings gather for their mother’s cremation, after a long separation. Forced together over the holidays, they must overcome their differences – and decide what to do with the ashes. On Christmas Eve, the youngest, Belinda, finds a perfect solution to both problems – but as she reveals it, the enormity of their loss plunges the family into chaos.

Diane, a PhD candidate and rising star in feminist studies, finds herself trapped as an at-home mother, struggling to find meaning in a life so removed from her expectations. In India 2500 years before, Yasodhara leads a parallel existence. A 16-year-old princess of enormous talent, she marries prince Siddhartha, who leaves her with their newborn, to seek enlightenment.
