Girls Stand Up - An Athena Project Summer Camp

No one tells YOUR story better than you! During this one week camp we will get at the heart of this truth using humor and fun as your guide. In stand-up comedy you are both writer and performer. Campers will write personal stories, workshop those stories into stand-up comedy sets, and discover how to best present those sets live on stage. We will watch and learn from some of the masters of the craft including Ellen, Sinbad and Margaret Cho (to name a few) as well as live stand-up from some local favorites.

Instructor: Janae Burris
Dates: August 5-9
Location: Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design
Cost: $250
